Opsgenie Alternative for Teams Leaving Atlassian

Atlassian's on-call and incident platform — end of sale June 2025, shutdown April 2027. DevHelm is not a 1:1 on-call replacement, but it covers uptime monitoring, notification policies, status pages, and PagerDuty routing at flat pricing for teams rebuilding their stack.

Switch to DevHelm if you need uptime monitoring and status pages alongside alerting — and you're open to PagerDuty or JSM for on-call.
Stay with Opsgenie if you only need on-call scheduling and want to stay in the Atlassian ecosystem through Jira Service Management.

Why Teams Switch to DevHelm

The three differences that matter most.

Monitors as code, in your repo

Define monitors in YAML and Terraform. PR-review them, version-control them, ship them with your app.

You — any incidents this morning?
DevHelm — 2 active, 1 acked.

Dependency intel Opsgenie never had

Opsgenie routes alerts — it does not probe your endpoints or correlate outages across third-party vendors. DevHelm monitors 80+ vendor status pages and suppresses noise when a dependency is already down. That's the wedge for teams rebuilding a monitoring + alerting stack after the sunset.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is DevHelm a drop-in Opsgenie replacement?▾
No — not if you only need on-call scheduling. DevHelm does not ship native on-call rotations, phone/SMS alerting, or an Incident Command Center today. DevHelm is the right fit when you also need uptime monitoring, status pages, and alert routing — and you keep PagerDuty (or migrate to Jira Service Management) for on-call.
When does Opsgenie shut down?▾
Atlassian ended new Opsgenie sales on June 4, 2025. Existing customers can use Opsgenie until end of support on April 5, 2027. After that date the product is inaccessible and un-migrated data is deleted. Atlassian's recommended path is migration to Jira Service Management.
How do I migrate from Opsgenie to DevHelm?▾
There is no one-click importer. Export your monitor and integration configs manually, recreate monitors as DevHelm YAML or Terraform, wire notification policies to Slack/webhook/PagerDuty channels, and deploy with `devhelm deploy -f devhelm.yml --yes`. On-call schedules do not transfer — rebuild them in PagerDuty or Jira Service Management.
Can DevHelm send alerts to Opsgenie during the sunset window?▾
Yes. DevHelm includes an OpsGenie alert-channel integration on the Free tier — create and resolve OpsGenie alerts automatically while you plan your longer-term on-call stack. The same applies to PagerDuty.
What does DevHelm cost vs Opsgenie for a 10-person team?▾
Opsgenie Standard costs $19.95 per responder per month on annual billing — roughly $200/mo for 10 engineers, on-call only. DevHelm Pro is $29/mo flat for 250 monitors, 30-second checks, 2 branded status pages, and all alert channels. Add PagerDuty or Jira Service Management separately for on-call scheduling.
