Test signup, login and checkout in production with Playwright. When one breaks, you see the failed step and screenshots — not a red CI job.
SYNTHETIC MONITORING
Everything a critical journey needs, on one account.
DEFINE
Upload the tests you run in CI. No recorder, no rewrite. Point the same spec at staging and production.
EXECUTE
Fresh sandboxes, retries and multi-region confirmation tell real failures from flaky runs. Run on a schedule, on demand after a deploy, or soon from your own network.
EVIDENCE
Every step with its timing, screenshots and the runner log, next to the version of the check that ran.
AI SRE
FOUNDING OFFERA design-partner program. Our engineers build an AI SRE with your team on Claude Code, Cursor or Codex, connected through MCP. It attributes the cause of every failure and hands a brief to your editor.
BUILD OR BUY
A scheduled CI job runs the tests. Everything around them is what you’d build and keep running yourself.
PRICING
Browser and API checks come with every Monitoring plan, next to your uptime monitors. Email and webhook testing is a separate plan on the same subscription.
Includes

The things teams ask before they move their browser tests to DevHelm.
Still deciding?
We’ll move your first journeys over with you, and answer the rest on a call.
Yes, if you want signup, login, checkout or your API covered in production, with or without existing Playwright tests. It isn’t real user monitoring: for performance data from real visitors, pair it with a RUM tool.
Yes. Upload a test with its helper files, up to 256 files and 10 MB, and it runs on Playwright 1.62.1 in Chromium. Other npm packages aren’t supported yet.
Yes. Point the same uploaded spec at two environments, each with its own variables and secrets.
Store them as secrets on an environment. They reach your test as environment variables, are encrypted at rest and are masked in logs.
One execution in one region. A check running in 3 regions uses 3 runs, and retries count too. Runs that fail because of our infrastructure don’t count.
Paid plans keep running: extra browser checks are $3.00 per 1,000 and extra API checks are $0.30 per 1,000. Free stays at the included grant until the next billing period or an upgrade.
us-east, us-west, eu-west and ap-south, in parallel, each run in an isolated sandbox. Private locations inside your network are coming soon.
Yes, with a Testing plan. Your test creates a DevHelm inbox or webhook URL, waits for the message or request, and checks it.
Screenshots and logs for 14 days. Run history for 90 days.
When a check fails, it reads the run, your recent changes and your vendors’ status, and tells you whether your code, a vendor or the test broke. It runs on Claude Code, Codex or Cursor. We set it up with a limited number of founding teams — it is not self-serve.
Yes, through the REST API today. YAML, Terraform and CLI support for synthetics are coming soon.
